As an advocate of beautifully designed shoes, I can authenticate the rakish quality Donum’s handmade shoes represent. With the array of the current collection – the kind of authoritative style that presents an edge, it’s more than safe to say that the brand is updating traditional shoe styles in a fit, and super stylish way especially for its price point.
Since most of the shoes aren’t too casual, or too formal as it pertains to coloring, and silhouette choices, there are a wide variety of styling options that pair well. As you can see from the pictures above with the oxford shoe, I have incorporated the turtleneck, the denim jacket, the puffer vest, and cuffed white trousers to assemble an example of the many distinct looks that can appeal to multiple sides of the spectrum: formal, casual, minimalist, and maximalist.
Donum Shoe Product Quality
On the subject of product quality, I must say, I have been able to do more than a even-handed amount of walking in the oxford shoe you see above. Yes, the shoe gets a lot of wear, and for good reason. First of all, they’re comfortable. Usually with shoes like oxfords, it takes a while to break them in, and if you own a lot of them, you know what I’m talking about. I’ve spent full days on the move in these shoes, and I never once cut myself, or felt like it was too heavy to walk in. I’ve traveled in them, I’ve worked in them, I’ve driven cars in them, and comfort never broke character. It’s a pretty stellar achievement for any brand when that happens. Performance enhanced dressing, anyone?
Another one of my favorite qualities highlight its glossy quality; specifically the toe cap embellishment. Nothing gives a shoe more character than its designed exterior, and in this case, a calfskin designed shoe with a medium shine burnish is the way to go. I sense a signature Donum design touch. A stylish, and refined way of dressing is well suited accordingly.
Great shoe brands last when they’re able to create products that prove to be generally cool, multifaceted, and unphased by the passage of time. Donum’s shoes speak for themselves as a result of unique design, and miscellany.
